How goal deals work
Piggy Pact is free. Now and then, a partner may have an offer on something you're saving for. Goal deals are how we show it, without giving anyone your information.
Goal deals aren't showing yet. This page explains how they will work.
What you'd see
At most one offer on a screen, attached to one of your goals and marked Sponsored. For example, a flight deal on a travel goal. The offer's wording is the same for everyone who sees it. It never mentions your goal or suggests we know anything about you.
Never in the save sheet, in challenge standings, or as a pop-up.
What we use
- The goal's category, such as Travel or Home.
- The country, and state or province, you live in.
What we never use or share
- Goal names, notes, amounts, targets, dates or progress.
- Your partner's personal goals.
- Goals in these categories: emergency fund, paying off debt, health, something else.
- Anything that identifies you. Advertisers get totals only, such as how many people saw or tapped an offer, and never for groups small enough to point to anyone.
Your private goals stay private. A deal on one is only ever shown to you, never anywhere your partner could see it.
Who decides
You do, for yourself. Your partner's choice doesn't change yours. Turn goal deals on or off any time in Profile → Offers, and it takes effect straight away. Turning them off doesn't change anything else in the app.
Where privacy rules ask for it, goal deals stay off until you say yes.
Which advertisers
Every offer is reviewed before it goes live. We don't accept payday loans, high-interest credit, gambling, speculative crypto, or offers to borrow money for a goal.
Categories that can have deals: travel, home, car, wedding, baby & family, tech, furniture & appliances, gifts & holidays, education.
